This stallion was said to be the undisputed king of the Glenormiston ponies. He was one of the most successful Connemara ponies in Australia; never having been beaten at a Royal Show, either in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. He won Supreme Champion Connemara at 11 of 13 Connemara Breed Pony shows, with dozens of championships and supreme championships from various agricultural shows. Praize evented in open competition, being unplaced only once over a 10 year EFA eventing career! He competed successfully in harness, EFA show jumping and dressage competitions - against ponies of all heights - as well as winning the overall championship under saddle for all breeds at the Stud Pony Show in Queensland.
